CNC V-grooving channel milled into stainless steel sheet before bending

Sharp corners are engineered

Laser → V-groove → bend → fabricate → finish → QC. One process chain, in one facility.

About

Precision metalwork
for architecture.

Metal Craft Studio provides precision sheet-metal processing and architectural metal fabrication from its manufacturing facility in Narela, Delhi — combining laser cutting, V-grooving, CNC bending, fabrication, finishing and custom development in one place.

Who we are

What MCS actually does

MCS is not a general fabrication shop that also does architectural work. The machines, the sequence and the finishing discipline are all set up around one thing: metal that will be looked at closely.

That focus shows up in decisions that would not make sense elsewhere — grooving a bend line to remove a radius nobody would notice on a machine guard, or coating a finished assembly rather than buying pre-coated sheet and accepting silver edges at every joint.

Work is supplied to architects, interior designers, builders, contractors, fabricators, furniture manufacturers, PMCs and project teams, from Delhi NCR across India.

Why MCS

What is different here

Stated as things MCS does, not as superlatives.

01

Precision V-grooving

A milled channel on the bend line, so the external corner is engineered rather than accidental.

02

Coated after fabrication

Never pre-coated sheet. Colour continues across faces, edges and welds.

03

In-house chain

Cut, groove, bend, weld, buff and finish in one facility, so nothing critical happens out of sight.

04

Multi-metal

Stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium, brass, bronze, copper and zinc from 0.25 to 4 mm.

05

Prototype to production

Mock-ups and bulk runs off the same machines, so the sample is reproducible.

06

Architect-focused support

Drawing review that tells you what will not work, before you commit to it.

Quality control

Ten checks, in sequence

01

Drawing review

The detail is read against what the machines can hold before anything is cut.

02

Material check

Grade, thickness and surface condition of incoming sheet.

03

Laser cutting check

Dimensions, edge quality and pattern registration off the bed.

04

V-groove check

Groove position, depth and remaining web on the bend line.

05

Bending check

Angles and leg lengths against the section drawing.

06

Fabrication check

Weld quality, squareness and assembly fit.

07

Surface / finish check

Grain direction, consistency and freedom from handling marks.

08

Final dimension check

Overall sizes and hole positions against the approved drawing.

09

Protective packing

Film, interleaving and crating appropriate to the finish.

10

Dispatch

Numbered and sequenced to suit the installation order.

The work, installed

Seen standing up

A profile on a bench tells you the section. It does not tell you what a ceiling, a screen or a wall of it looks like once it is lit and in place. These are our own pieces, built and installed for display.
