CNC V-grooving channel milled into stainless steel sheet before bending

Sharp corners are engineered

Laser → V-groove → bend → fabricate → finish → QC. One process chain, in one facility.

Detail

How MCS uses it

01

TIG welding

Used where the weld is visible and has to disappear after dressing. Control over heat input matters most on thin sheet and on finishes that show distortion.

02

Spot welding

For concealed joints and for assembling panel returns and stiffeners where a continuous weld would distort the face.

03

Seamless joints

Welds are dressed, ground and buffed back so that a fabricated corner reads as a folded one. This is the reason MCS coats after fabrication rather than before.

04

Assembly

Sub-assemblies are built and checked before finishing, so a system arrives on site as units rather than as loose components to be resolved by the installer.

05

Prototype

One-off mock-ups and samples are made on the same machines as production, so what is approved is what gets repeated.

06

Production

Bulk and contract runs, with numbering and packing sequence set to suit the installation order.
