CNC V-grooving channel milled into stainless steel sheet before bending

Sharp corners are engineered

Laser → V-groove → bend → fabricate → finish → QC. One process chain, in one facility.

Design support

What MCS can help with before you specify

None of this is chargeable consultancy. It is the conversation that makes the eventual quotation accurate.

01

Product selection

Which of the 188 products in the range actually suits the condition — and when the answer is a custom section instead.

02

Material guidance

Where SS 316 earns its cost over 304, where aluminium is the better answer, and where brass will move on you.

03

Finish guidance

What each finish does under the lighting you have planned, and which ones show handling marks in a high-traffic position.

04

Profile development

Turning a drawn section into one that can be produced — leg lengths, groove positions, returns and jointing.

05

Fabrication feasibility

Whether the geometry folds, whether the pattern holds together at that thickness, and what the minimum feature size is.

06

Drawing review

A read of your detail against what the machines can actually hold, returned with the points that need a decision.

How we work

Concept to handover, in eight steps

01

Concept

You share a concept, a sketch or a drawing. At this stage nothing needs to be resolved — an intent and a dimension are enough to start a conversation about whether it can be made.

02

Technical review

MCS reviews material, thickness, profile, bend sequence, groove positions, finish and fabrication feasibility, and comes back with what works, what does not, and what would work better.

03

Shop drawing / development

Manufacturing-ready details are prepared where that forms part of the agreed scope, including setting-out, jointing and fixing positions.

04

Sample / mock-up

Where required. Finish in particular should be signed off on physical metal — no photograph or swatch reproduces a metal finish honestly.

05

Fabrication

Laser cutting, V-grooving, bending, welding and finishing, in sequence, in one facility.

06

Quality control

Dimensions, groove, bend angles, surface, finish and packing are checked before anything leaves.

07

Delivery / site coordination

Depending on project scope, including packing sequence and numbering so the pieces arrive in installation order.

08

Handover

For projects where installation and handover form part of the MCS scope.
