Pipe Profile (Square & Rectangular)
Square and rectangular pipe sections folded from sheet — V-grooved at every corner, closed with one welded seam — in stainless steel, brass, copper or mild steel, cut to length.
Overview
MCS makes square and rectangular pipe the way it makes every profile: from flat sheet. The blank is laser-cut, V-grooved along each bend line, folded on the press brake and closed with a single seam weld that is ground back, so all four corners are sharp instead of the rounded corners of a drawn tube. Sizes follow the drawing rather than a stock list, wall thickness is any sheet from 0.25 to 4 mm, and the same section can be made in stainless steel, brass, copper, aluminium or mild steel and finished after fabrication. Round pipe is not offered — MCS works only in sheet.

Dimensions, tolerances and weights are project-specific. MCS does not publish fixed sizes for made-to-order sections, because the section is set by the substrate, the glass make-up or the panel module it has to suit. Contact MCS for project-specific technical data →
