How MCS uses it

What it cuts

Stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium, brass and copper in sheet from 0.25 mm to 4 mm. Harder and more reflective metals behave differently under the beam, which affects edge quality and the minimum feature the cut can hold.

Where MCS uses it

Perforated façade and ceiling panels, laser cut screens and jaali, parametric fins, signage letters, and the developed blank for every folded profile in the range.

Pattern work

Open area, hole size and pitch are cut to your file rather than bought in as pre-perforated coil — which is why the pattern can stop cleanly short of a fold line instead of running through it.

Nesting

Parts are nested to the sheet to control material usage. On parametric work where every panel differs, nesting and part numbering matter as much as the geometry.

Edge condition

A cut edge is a visible edge on a screen or a perforated panel. Deburring and edge treatment are part of the process, not an afterthought.

File formats

DXF and DWG are preferred. A dimensioned PDF works for simple sections; for pattern work a vector file avoids redrawing and the errors that come with it.
