Metal Craft Studio processes sheet metal and fabricates architectural metalwork in its own manufacturing facility in Narela, Delhi. Laser cutting, V-grooving, CNC bending, fabrication, finishing and custom development are all done in one place.

Metal Craft Studio is a sheet metal job-work factory in Narela, Delhi, working since 2001. Fabricators, contractors, architects, PMCs, makers and developers send us a drawing, a sketch or a sample; we laser cut, V-groove, bend, weld and finish the part to it. B2B job work only.
Who we are
What MCS does
MCS is not a general fabrication shop that also takes architectural work. The machines, the order of work and the finishing are all set up for one kind of job: metal that people will look at closely.
That is why we do things a general shop would not. We groove a bend line to remove a radius that nobody would notice on a machine guard. The finished assembly is coated, never the sheet, because pre-coated sheet leaves a silver edge at every joint.
We supply architects, interior designers, builders, contractors, fabricators, furniture manufacturers, PMCs and project teams, from Delhi NCR to sites across India.

What is different here
Six things MCS does, stated plainly.
V-grooving on the bend line
A channel is milled along the bend line before folding. The outside corner comes out sharp on purpose, not by chance.
Coated after fabrication
We never use pre-painted sheet. The colour runs over faces, edges and welds without a break.
Everything in one workshop
Cutting, grooving, bending, welding, buffing and finishing are done in one facility, so no important step happens out of our sight.
Many metals
Stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium, brass, bronze, copper, zinc and galvanized iron, from 0.25 to 4 mm thick.
Prototype to production
Mock-ups and bulk runs are made on the same machines, so the sample can be repeated.

Quality control
Ten checks, in order
Drawing review
Before anything is cut, the detail is read against what the machines can hold.
Material check
The grade, thickness and surface condition of the incoming sheet.
Laser cutting check
Dimensions, edge quality and the position of the pattern, as the part comes off the laser bed.
V-groove check
The position and depth of the groove, and the web of metal left on the bend line.
Bending check
Angles and leg lengths, compared with the section drawing.
Fabrication check
Weld quality, squareness and the fit of the assembly.
Surface / finish check
Grain direction, an even finish and no handling marks.
Final dimension check
Overall sizes and hole positions, compared with the approved drawing.
Protective packing
Film, interleaving and crating chosen to suit the finish.
Dispatch
Pieces are numbered and sent in the order of installation.
In place
Seen in place, not on the bench
A profile on a bench shows you its section. It does not show how a ceiling, a screen or a wall of that profile looks once it is in place and lit.
