Inside Metal Craft Studio
How work flows
through our factory
A 20,000 sq ft workshop in Narela, Delhi, laid out as one chain: a part moves from the design desk to the laser, the V-groover, the press brake, welding and finishing, then inspection, packing and dispatch. Nothing that affects the corner or the finish leaves the building between steps.

The journey
Station by
station
Choose a station: what happens there, and where quality is checked.

Station 01 of 8
Design & planning
The drawing is reviewed for manufacture: bend order, groove positions and flat lengths. Shop drawings and DXF cut files are prepared and the parts are nested and numbered.
Quality check hereDrawing checked before anything is cut.

Station 02 of 8
CNC fibre laser cutting
Flat blanks, perforation and patterns are cut on the 2 m × 4 m bed and deburred. Accurate flat geometry is where precision in the fold begins.
Quality check hereCut geometry against the drawing.

Station 03 of 8
CNC V-grooving
Where a corner must be sharp, a V-groove is milled along each bend line on sheets up to 4 m long.
Quality check hereGroove positions against the drawing.

Station 04 of 8
CNC bending
The 5-axis CNC press brake folds the section, up to 3 m long, in the planned bend order. The programme is kept for repeat orders.
Quality check hereBend angles and the section against the approved sample.

Station 05 of 8
Welding & assembly
Where a part has more than one piece, it is TIG or spot welded, ground flush and assembled.
Quality check hereJoints dressed before finishing.

Station 06 of 8
Surface finishing
Deburring, grinding, buffing, mirror and hairline polishing and bead blasting, done after the fold so edges and corners are finished too. PVD colours go on after this step.
Quality check hereSurface and finish against the approved sample.

Station 07 of 8
Inspection
Dimensions, grooves, bend angles, surface, finish and packing are checked before anything leaves the workshop.
Quality check hereFinal check against the drawing and the approved sample.

Station 08 of 8
Packing & dispatch
Parts are packed and numbered, and dispatched from Narela, Delhi to sites across India. Where it is in the scope, the packing sequence follows the order of installation.
Quality check hereQuantity and packing checked before dispatch.
Quality
Where quality
is checked
Quality is not one step at the end. It is checked where each step happens, against the drawing and the sample you approved.

Packing & dispatch
The quality has to
survive the journey
Parts are packed and numbered for the order.
Where it is in the scope, the packing sequence follows the order of installation.
Dispatched from Narela, Delhi, to sites across India; transport and site support are set out in the quotation.
The delivery date is committed in writing with every order.
