Sharp corners, our USP

Every range here is folded from flat sheet to a drawing. Where a corner is seen, we V-groove it first, so the edge closes sharp instead of round.

Material

Aluminium

About a third of the density of steel, and corrosion resistant by nature. It is the practical answer wherever the length of a run or the weight of a panel rules out steel, and that covers most ceiling and louver work.

Detail

Specifying aluminium

PropertiesLight and easy to form. Its own oxide layer protects it from corrosion. It takes powder coating in any RAL colour.
Where to specifyMetal ceilings, baffles, linear systems, louvers, façade panels, brise soleil and large cladding panels where dead load matters.
FinishesPowder coating in any RAL colour, and mechanical finishes. Aluminium does not take PVD.
Fabrication notesSofter than steel, and it marks more easily in handling, so the protective film stays on until installation. It springs back differently from steel on the press brake, and the bending programme allows for that.
Trade-offWeaker than stainless steel at the same thickness. Sections are often made deeper or stiffened, not simply thinner.
