Overview

A prototype is the part made as a sample, before it is made in quantity. The design team can check the dimensions, corner detail, joints, fixing method and finish on real metal.

MCS makes the prototype with the same laser cutting, V-grooving, CNC bending and fabrication that the final order will use. Changes are made at this stage, and the approved prototype becomes the reference for the production run. It can be made in stainless steel, aluminium, brass, bronze, copper, mild steel or zinc.

Used for: custom profile sections, panel and cladding details, ceiling elements, screens, any detail that is drawn for one project.

To quote we need: the drawing (DWG, DXF or PDF), the metal and finish, what you want to check on the sample, and the quantity you expect in production.
