Kinetic Façade
Façade panels of small metal tiles set in rows, each at its own angle, so the surface catches light differently across the wall.
An example of our job work. We make your version to your drawing: your metal, sizes, quantity and finish. Send your drawing →
Overview
A façade panel built from rows of individual metal tiles. Each tile is set at its own angle on a concealed sub-frame. As the daylight and the viewing angle change, the tiles reflect light differently, and the surface appears to ripple across the elevation.
MCS laser cuts and folds the tiles from sheet, with V-grooved bends where an edge must be sharp. Tile size, spacing, tilt pattern, metal and finish are developed from the project drawing and the structure behind. The tiles are made in stainless steel or aluminium.
Used for: building façades, entrance features, atrium walls, lobbies, large interior feature walls.
To quote we need: the elevation drawing with the area to cover, tile size and spacing, the tilt pattern, details of the structure behind, metal and finish.
