Overview
Metal façade panels in which coin-shaped discs are laser cut and folded out of the sheet. Hexagons and other shapes can be raised in the same way. The raised pieces catch light at a different angle from the panel face, so the wall has depth and shadow that change through the day.
MCS cuts the discs on the laser, lifts each one to the set angle and folds the panel with returns for fixing to the sub-frame. Disc size, spacing, lift angle and panel module are developed from the project drawing. The panels are made in stainless steel or aluminium.
Used for: commercial buildings, hotels, offices, retail developments, entrances and feature walls.
